We've officially set off on our trip to run the trails of Marin County. The beauty and freedom of the outdoors awaits us, followed by most excellent food and lodging (I hope, anyway). We dropped the kids at school; both grappling a bit with the length of time we will be apart.
But before we can get started, we're going to have to hang out in the Eugene airport (better than SFO or most others) for a couple of hours due to a flight delay. Apparently, the weather in SFO has closed a runway; reducing the number of landings. So, we wait. Good thing we're not in a hurry.
It'll take me at least that long to come back down anyway.......
